Calligraphy frustration. Some days it just doesn’t happen

and today is one of those days.

In my first blog post about my blog I wrote that I would share the good and the bad through my crafting journey.

Today, try as I might……

  • There’s too much ink on the nib
  • Not enough ink on the nib
  • The ink bled on the paper
  • The A and the m were too close together

Calligraphy practice just isn’t happening, so I’ve decided to put my pen down for the day. No point forcing it, some days are just like that πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Do you find that with your crafting?

Thank you for reading and happy crafting (or maybe it’s ok not to craft today and do it tomorrow πŸ™‚)

    1. 😁 mine have to go straight on the paper recycling pile as I have quite a few unfinished projects lying about to. When the paper tower gets to big I have to put it in the recycling πŸ˜‚. Thank you for reading my post & taking the time to reply

    1. Thank you. I think it’s important to share the elements where it doesn’t always go to plan too because that’s how it goes isn’t it. I hope everyone who reads my posts comes away thinking it won’t always be right 1st (or 5th) time but that’s perfectly ok. πŸ™‚ Thank you for reading my post and taking the time to comment πŸ™‚
