Calligraphy frustration. Some days it just doesn’t happen

and today is one of those days.

In my first blog post about my blog I wrote that I would share the good and the bad through my crafting journey.

Today, try as I might……

  • There’s too much ink on the nib
  • Not enough ink on the nib
  • The ink bled on the paper
  • The A and the m were too close together

Calligraphy practice just isn’t happening, so I’ve decided to put my pen down for the day. No point forcing it, some days are just like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you find that with your crafting?

Thank you for reading and happy crafting (or maybe it’s ok not to craft today and do it tomorrow 🙂)

    1. 😁 mine have to go straight on the paper recycling pile as I have quite a few unfinished projects lying about to. When the paper tower gets to big I have to put it in the recycling 😂. Thank you for reading my post & taking the time to reply

    1. Thank you. I think it’s important to share the elements where it doesn’t always go to plan too because that’s how it goes isn’t it. I hope everyone who reads my posts comes away thinking it won’t always be right 1st (or 5th) time but that’s perfectly ok. 🙂 Thank you for reading my post and taking the time to comment 🙂
