Practicing Wedding Calligraphy

I have to say, Brush Calligraphy is much harder than it looks 😁

For this piece I used a very thin paint brush to ‘write’, using black Ecoline Watercolour ink.
I had painted a floral painting earlier in the week and had cut it to size to make as card centres.

I had some end peices of paper left and thought I would practice my brush lettering, using the techniques and shapes I have been practicing with my pointed pen.

I quite like how this turned out.

I’m going to try some different styles and will do a ‘how-to’ post at some point soon.

And I need to get Christmas crafting too….. so many projects, so little time   😄

Thank you for reading and Happy crafting!
